Started racing at the age of 8 years old…..grew up sailing Optimist Dinghy’s, participating in regattas such as the Orange Bowl, Optimist North Americans and the Balboa Invitational….began sailing Bytes at the age of 13 years old and traveling all over the country most notably Central and Eastern Canada…..Participated in C.O.R.K from 1996-1998 with a best finish of 5th out of 95 boats…..Won the East Coast Championships in 1998 and placed 3rd out of 64 in the Byte North Americans that same year….Sailed 420’s my last two years of High school 1999-2000….Participated in two CISA clinics and placed 3rd at Bemis in 1999…..Went to College at Old Dominion University and primarily crewed the first two years……Went to the Collegiate National Championships Freshman and Sophomore year placing 4th in Team Racing in 2002….Sailed A division Junior and Senior Year…...Placed 3rd in the Conference Championships in 2003-2004…..In 2006, placed 4th at the Jeanne Shenck Team Race Regatta in Newport California…..In 2007, placed 5th out of 25 teams at the Vanguard Team Racing Midwinters.  Began coaching High school in 2005 in my final year of school at Old Dominion University…..Coached the Maury High school sailing team to Second in they’re area.  Began coaching at Mission Bay Yacht Club in January 2007 to present
