Junior Sailor of the MonthFebruary
Jameson Perry Birthday: June 29th, 1996 Results Highlights 2nd Place B Fleet at NHYC SCYA Mid-Winters Notes Jameson started sailing two years ago and has attacked Sabots in the past 12 months. He simply LOVES to sail. His hard work is showing results by making B-Fleet last fall at the Fall Junior Invitational. Since then, he’s placed top 10 in his B Fleet regatta’s amongst very tough competition of late. Beyond his Sabot career, he’s also sailing double-handed CFJ’s and 420’s. Jameson also sailed internationally this past summer. He was fortunate enough to sail Optimists in four international regattas in Optimist B Fleet, and attended an Optimist sailing camp in Holland. His peers elected him B-Fleet Captain for the 2009 season. Jameson hopes to take his sailing career into High School, College, and beyond. In the meantime, at this rate, it won’t be long before Jameson makes A-Fleet! Congratulations to Jameson Perry on becoming the Sailor of the Month for February 2009.
